I want to stand in defense for the Copacabana in light of all the bad words people have said here. Four of us went for weekday dinner at the Niagara Falls location last fall. It was not busy so the service was great. The food was fantastic even though they weren't busy and NO ONE got sick. We tasted 15 different meats and didn't have to wait long for any of them. Yes it's expensive, and there are line-ups at all good venues. That shouldn't be a surprise. Food poisoning happens at many restaurants with buffets from time to time, and please people, it's not the number of people at one sitting that matters but the number of instances in a given period of time that should concern you. This place wouldn't still be in business if they had frequently re-occurring food poisoning issues.
We have always wanted to eat at this restaurant. The service was awful. It is like eating a cheap restaurant where they serve you quickly and want you out of there. We were supposed to get served at each person's plate, but instead the waiter just sliced all the meat on one plate and we had to pass it around. It took 5 times to get the Pincana Brazil meat. Comparing this to other Brazilian restaurant, I would say this is the worst specially when you pay $60 a head with wine.
If you love meat this is the place. Great food and a great atmosphere. Service was excellent. Dinner starts with the salad bar, but don't go crazy. Once you sit back down the meat parade begins. Spit after spit of different meats (I think about 15 different). Chicken, pork, steak, all exceptional. Cornmeal muffins and fried bananas are brought out. Staff was very friendly and eager to bring your meat selection to your table at request. But the best thing of all was the pineapple cooked on a spit. Incredible. I have never been so full in my life. Oh yeah. The restaurant has a certain flare for hiring. They are all very easy on the eyes.
One of the best restaurants ive ever been too . Meats are amazing , service was amazing and also very attractive staff. Our party had a ton of fun . Ive been to many churrascarias this is one of the best ones. Only one word to describe our experience AMAZING . For the guy that waited 3 hrs , well thats your problem, no one forced you too wait that long .
Do not go to Copacabana Restaurant in Niagara. Had to wait for 3 hours (after been told 1.5 hours wait) although there were plenty of empty tables inside. Likely a cheap marketing strategy. The hostess was obviously not a customer oriented one ... we waited anyway, after all the restaurant was highly recommended. By the time we got in to one of the empty tables (this one timed more than hour) my 2 sons were exhausted and hungry ... fell asleep with the first bite. The buffet food was average, the selection OK. What surprised me the most was the steak ... all the cuts tasted the same: BOILED MEAT, what a waste. After being in many Rodizios (Brazilian steak house) this is by far the worst. On top of that, pricey, no desert ... and on and on. - DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY

Samba, samba, samba and enjoy all the meat you can eat at this authentic Brazilian Rodizio with locations uptown and downtown. The lively dining room offers a full pasta and salad bar while roaming servers (or “gauchos”) visit tableside to carve over 20 unique cuts of perfectly seasoned grilled meats (the picanha is a house specialty) onto your plate. On Friday and Saturday nights, experience the flavours of Carnival as the restaurant hosts live performances from costumed Samba dancers and acrobatic Capoeira martial artists.
