I have taken clients to Copa on six occasions. The food is great. The service is suspect. I think that the 'front of the house' personel are lacking. The servers are slow to come by if you are not ordering steady drinks. You might want to be a little pushy with the Gauchos (meat slingers) about coming around more frequently and also to load you up while you have their attention. The atmosphere is great and it is well worth the $ and your time. Just make a reservation and call ahead to make sure your table will be ready. Ninety minute waits are not uncommon.
the place was dead at the time, but we were treated exceptionally well right thru out, food A+,loved it!Surely going back.
I'm not sure WHO you have to be to be seated at this restaurant! First time I went in 2005, they "lost" our reservations...waited 45 minutes to be seated, but largely ignored by waitress for drinks. Since I always give a restaurant a 2nd chance, I made reservations for a party of 8, about 1 year later. Again they "lost" my reservations (even after confirming by phone the day prior), told us to wait at the bar. We waited for 1 1/2 HOURS and we STILL weren't seated (with plenty of empty tables, btw). I never make a scene, but I sure did that night. It's too bad that the concept is so cool, because that's the ONLY thing keeping it going.
It was my first time visiting on Valentine's Day. The staff were so friendly and the food was AMAZING! We never had to wait more than a few minutes before a server came around. The buffet was also awesome. There was also great live music!
OUT OF THIS WORLD ATMOSPHERE & FOOD. HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ANYONE.

Samba, samba, samba and enjoy all the meat you can eat at this authentic Brazilian Rodizio with locations uptown and downtown. The lively dining room offers a full pasta and salad bar while roaming servers (or “gauchos”) visit tableside to carve over 20 unique cuts of perfectly seasoned grilled meats (the picanha is a house specialty) onto your plate. On Friday and Saturday nights, experience the flavours of Carnival as the restaurant hosts live performances from costumed Samba dancers and acrobatic Capoeira martial artists.
