This restaurant is so special to my wife and I that we make a point to go there every year on our anniversary. This year is our 25th and once again it was another top of the line experience! The Dawghouse is an awesome place to be. The wait staff are long-timers and know everyone. It’s a regular Cheers! So many regulars’ daily... including me. Prices are great the best dish is their Fireside Chicken dinner... their BLT. has 1/2 lb of bacon it in and their wings are always cooked to perfection. Atmosphere is so good. Cindy and Bill Street great people they make you feel like one of the family. Live music almost every Friday.... great gang!!

We decided to try Waldos for valentines dinner and was pleasantly surprised. My wife and I selected from the set menu and chose the steak. The appetizers were great, baked brie, smoked salmon salad and lobster bisque were all very nice. Our meal arrived and was cooked to perfection. The steak was exactly as we asked, asparagus was cooked perfectly as were the roasted potatoes.
As our meal was to be followed by attending a play at the Grand Theatre, our time was limited. Joe, our server, was a great representative of the restaurant and ensured that we were served in a timely fashion. Time ran short and since we could not take the set dessert with us... Joe arranged for us to have a different dessert to take with us. Joe was a great guy who helped make the evening a success. The only suggestion would be for the restaurant to have complimentary roses for all the ladies in attendance. We will certainly return again soon.

A fantastic, refreshing "blast from the past"! Marika, the owner, is an amazing woman. Meeting her and watching her serve guests is worth 3x whatever you spend on your meal. She's very inspirational!
The food is traditional Hungarian fare. It's very simple and basic. The decor is as it was 50 years ago! It's fascinating to take in all the history that fills the place!
