Went out to Papa Joe's for breakfast a couple weeks ago at the recommendation of a friend. We were met with a friendly face and voice from the moment we stepped inside. The food was superb, the portions were huge (almost needed takeout), the service was top notch and the owner came over personally to check how things were. Other than most people being Leafs fans, it was great so Mr. Bruin and his family will definitely go back.

This place is great, my family and I come here regularly for lunch and breakfast. On sunday, we took my father here for father's day, and our whole family was impressed with the food and the value (they joined us from out of town).
We all had a great time, and were well taken care of even though the place was really busy. It's the ONLY place to go for good breakfast and lunch in town, and more people should support local and independent restaurant owners- Woodstock has too many restaurant chains.

This classic setting overlooking the river and waterwheel complements the casual, fine dining perfectly. The patio has a great view and a casual menu. Inside the cozy fireplace is very romantic or you can get a very private dining room for business or family events. Food was excellent with good variety and local flavours. Went on a Wednesday with girlfriends for drinks and nibbles in the bar. The service was awesome and the food was pretty quick and very tasty. We shared spinach dip, antojitoes and nachoes and we were stuffed! We didn't know a band would be playing and it was an added bonus. We had a great time and have plans to make this our regular get- together hangout!

We ordered East Sides for Mothers Day and we were not disappointed!! We usually don't order out on big holidays as we know everywhere is crazy busy but we decided to treat ourselves this year and are glad we did. Portion sizes were spot on, food was hot and delicious and the staff were amazing. Great job!! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend and will be back!

We went there for my son's birthday. I have not been there since they have renovated (which was years ago). Growing up I remembered it was the place to go after a day of fun at sportsworld. The evenings was more the college crowd to just drink and be social. Most recently i took my family there on a Friday night. We had to wait 45 minutes but we didn't mind considering it had a nice lobby with a huge couch. The decor resembled the true north with of course moose heads everywhere. i really liked the stone hearth fireplace. The kids really liked the ancient snowmobile overheard. It was a great experience and the server was really friendly and hospitable. The food was okay, not great. Maybe i should have ordered the lumberjack platter or something. Overall we all enjoyed the experience and would definitely recommend to others.
