Très belle place pour un mariage champêtre. Équipe dévouée, attention de premier plan, on sent vite qu'on fait partie de la famille quand on planifie notre projet avec eux.

La Champenoise a de très belle salles de réception. Nous y étions pour notre party de bureau de Noël, tous le monde a eu son compte. Leur bar est excellent et nous avons pu connecter notre propre musique. La salle était spacieuse et nous avons pu l'arranger à notre guise! Merci à leur équipe!!

Awful Wedding experience

La Champenoise is a beautiful outdoors venue & family owned business. There were things that we liked about our experience but the bad things outweigh the good. We noticed that prior to signing the contract with them, they were helpful, kind & willing to make an effort to make the whole planning process easy for us. However, everything changed after we signed the contract. They weren’t helpful at all & they made the planning process much more difficult & stressful. Multiple misunderstandings arose during our entire experience with them due to their lack of communication. There were four people (owners, his wife & 2 daughters) in charge of our wedding, which caused a lot of disorganization & frustration. For instance, the day of the wedding one of their staff members asked us if they should take out the wedding cake at that moment. WE DIDN'T EVEN HAVE A WEDDING CAKE. A very unfortunate issue was that they forced us to use their DJ whom we didn't know nor wanted & also obliged us to use their sound system, for which we had to pay 550$. After many discussions they allowed us to bring our OWN DJ but he still was forced to ONLY use their sound system which was cheap, old, in bad condition, had low watts & cheap speakers. For instance, at the reception the groom’s mom was scheduled to sing a song but surprisingly their sound system DID NOT read mp3 & the headset DID NOT work either, which resulted in an embarrassing 3 min of silence. In the end she sang the song without music under stress due to their inept sound equipment. On many occasions they made us go to the venue needlessly without taking into consideration our work schedule & the 1hr drive from our home. Planning a wedding isn’t easy & La Champenoise made it much more stressful, frustrating and complicated.
