During the week of MTLATABLE, we enjoyed a light dinner, cozy ambiance for this little restaurant near Little Italy. They offered a fixed price and was slightly disappointed that they ran out of the main course of salmon (we were part of the second seating at 730pm). We ended up getting beef tartare which was tasty. The wine we ordered was very natural which we enjoyed. Overall it was an OK experience, I think it could've been better.
Chef Martin Juneau’s second restaurant recently opened its doors on Beaubien Street. Cul-Sec is a wine cellar and a canteen and offers privately imported wines and a short but appetizing menu. Among the suggested dishes are Norwegian trout, beef tartare and a Philly Steak sandwich.
Located near St. Laurent Boulevard, Martin Juneau’s cantina also serves as a neighbourhood wine shop. It offers a nice variety of small, simple and delicious dishes such as chopped liver and private, imported wines to enjoy at the restaurant or to take away with the purchase of a meal.
