SAMBO Montreal opened its doors in 2009 teaching Sportive SAMBO to kids and adults across Montreal to learn and compete with Judo athletes in the province, quickly climbing to the 4th place out of 36 Judo schools in competitions by 2012. Since then, some regulations were put in place by Judo Quebec that made us train solely real Combat and Freestyle SAMBO in 2013. Those developments lead to a more united, more performing and more all-round style and technique that have caught the attention of many martial artists in Montreal and grew the popularity of our sport in our city!
