Come enjoy an appetizing dish at Basil Court Restaurant. Their atmosphere has been described as casual. They are open late all week. You can get there by public transit and bicycle. They are established in a location packed with parks, restaurants, stores and coffee shops.
My friend and I have been going to Basil Court for years and have nothing but good things to say about it. We usually each order a dish, then split it so we can try various menu items. The Pad Thai and Spicy Vegetable Noodle have always been great. They have great food, service and the prices a great. Would (and do) recommend to anyone.
when you first enter the basement where the restaurant is located don't be alarmed by the older, poorly decorated space... the food is superb! and the waitstaff is ALWAYS very nice!

the service is good, if ur ordering take out they will come up to the street and bring it to ur car if u cant find any parking since it is downtown. i give the food a 9 because i love the basil chicken, its actually a perfect 10, but ive also tried the other menu items and they werent as good as the basil chicken. i visit this restaurant about 3 times a week, sometimes more sometimes less depends on my mood. but the basil chicken made mild is a MUST TRY.

This restaurant is awesome if you're in the mood for something different but delicious. Not only is the food great but both lunch and dinner are extremely affordable.
I eat lunch here 2-3 times a week (often take-out). The food is great. You can order the menu items very spicy or with no spice at all, depending on your taste.
When I do eat in the restaurant, the service is good. Can't beat the prices. I've attended dinner parties here as well with 20 people or so and the atmosphere is very pleasant and the food and wait staff were great.
Highly recommend Basil Court to everyone.
