Don't you just love the phrase “drive in”? It brings to mind long summer nights and reliable diner grub that you know will hit the spot - whether that spot is breakfast lunch or dinner. "We have changed the menu very little since Mr. Tasty’s Drive In opened in 1980,” says William Nowrozi who runs the popular neighbourhood spot with brother Jimmy. Famed with locals for their friendliness, courtesy and speed, the brothers took over the spot in 2001 and wisely decided to maintain the poutine, onion rings and burger combos. “We have customers who moved out of the area who come back when they’re in town for a bite to eat with us because they know what they’re going to get.”
