It’s worth the trip to Scarborough to sample the authentic fare at this Lebanese eatery on Victoria Park. Despite it’s unassuming exterior, this casual kitchen turns out some of the city’s
best Middle Eastern specialties, including kabobs, shawarma, falafel. The hummus (available in large or regular plates) is made with mashed chickpeas mixed with garlic, lemon and tahini (ask for some house-made hot sauce to add a little spice). The décor is modest but the service is friendly, the portions are generous and prices are incredibly affordable.
