At Armstrong Paving & Materials in St. Marys, our vision is to provide our customers with the best possible project by using high quality materials and application methods. We do this through efficiently and co-operatively working with our customers, suppliers and sub-contractors. In 2004, Jay R. Armstrong, CET, created McCann Paving Inc. as a complimentary business to McCann Construction Inc. in Stratford, ON. In the Spring of 2014, Jay and his wife Liz purchased the construction company’s shares and became the sole owners of the newly named Armstrong Paving and Materials Group Ltd.
With over 30 years of experience in the asphalt paving industry, Jay has incorporated much knowledge, values and proven experience into this company. His resume includes a wide variety of projects from construction and paving of a section of the 401 near London to the construction and paving of parking lots and driveways.
Liz has been an estimator and project manager at McCann Paving since 2008. Prior to joining McCann Paving, she operated her own busy landscape company for 9 years. This company is very slow on what they are doing.They will start a job and work for 3 days and take 4 to 5 days off then work a few more days and dont see them back for a week or so.This company is not very well set up.Takes too long to do a small job
