The trend for public libraries is away from the static, institutional storage facility of the past. We embrace the new role of community hub and try to provide a safe, positive, comfortable and inviting environment for customers. We believe in the library as the place where the community can meet to explore interests, meet friends, attend programs and events for all ages and interests. We strive to create a balance that will allow all of these activities to take place in an environment where all ages are respected and welcomed.
