We love Pookie's! We don't eat here often because...
We love Pookie's! We don't eat here often because it's a bit expensive for our budget, but it is a treat every time. The owners are SO friendly and know us by order (we get the same thing every time), and the food is absolutely delicious. This place has the best spring rolls I've ever ordered in a restaurant. The place is lovely inside; the decorations and music are great, and we absolutely love coming here. I've brought friends and they raved about it, too.

An overall amazing experience. Pookie was so friendly & the food was great. The decor was new & clean. It was the kind of restaurant you would want to try different foods in - because you trust that they know how to cook anything! I imagine I will become a regular there!

Pookie's - a welcome addition to Ottawa's west-end
My husband and I discovered this little west-end treasure shortly after it opened it has since become one of our favourite places to dine. The food is absolutely delicious, the ambiance and the decor offer a warm, comfortable dining experience. The owner, Pookie, for whom the restaurant is named, makes every customer feel welcome and appreciated with her graceful charm and delightful personality. We have little doubt this restaurant will experience every success in the future ...but for selfish reasons we hope it doesn’t become too busy! Faithful customers, Bernie & John
