We visited the Sq One location on a Wed evening. The place was still packed at 7. The waitress was very nice, actually a little over accommodating to my taste. The were pushing the 14 oz NY steak but I had ordered the smaller portion. I had ordered medium rare and it arrived as medium well, not to mention the texture of the steak looked like it was just defrosted, colourless and tasteless. I had it exchanged and the new one was bigger and better. They must have ran out of the smaller portion and ended up giving me the 14 oz they were pusing. The food of my group was ok but the restaurant is more of a meeting place than for cusine.
Hopefully someone lets management read this because everyone hsould be fired and people that have been brought up with at least some manners should be put in... the worst service I have experienced...I said I would return but that would only be when I have more than three hours to spend and dont mind a migraine.

Moxie's is so overrated. I've been there several times and every time has been a dissapointment to say the least. The food doesn't even taste great, but they charge so much for it i.e. the steam veg that accompanied the steak was bland. Moreover, the food alway comes out cold (horrible when it comes to steaks).

I had the opportunity to try out the Moxie's at Square One. I was seated in the dining room and the chairs were extremely uncomfortable. I had great service from my waitress , especially when I decided I was too uncomfortable and that I wanted my main course to go.
I was suitably impressed with moxie's claim that their beef was AAA and satisfaction guaranteed. To my surprise, (I am a chef myself), the steak wasn't suitable for consumption. It was obvious to me that it was not the finest cut (Center cut Striploin) as advertised but the tissue end of the sreip. It was so tough that the AAA rating of the cow was in doubt and it was full of grissle. To add insult to injury it was not cooked to my desired doneness.
The restaurant relies on surface polish to impress, it was very sexy and very right on with the atmosphere, but the food cannot be an afterthought. Especially if that is what you're buuilding your reputaton on false promises, live up to the guarantee and I would have been impressed.

We couldn't order anything because noone came to our table for 25 mins!!! At the same time, there were servers walking past us every couple of minutes. When we asked for help, several servers told us they would bring our server to us, but noone came. We just left. Absolutely disgusted with the poor service.
