Mum's Restaurant & Bakery welcomes you to their establishment. They are open after-hours all week. You can get there not only by public transit and bicycle but also by car and visit them in an area known as historical, stimulating and green. You can pay by Visa, MasterCard and Interac.
Recently purchased a second home on the North Channel, and heard a lot about Mum's Restaurant. We decided to try one day, and we were very pleased! This is not your typical diner. Portions are massive. Could barely eat 3/4 of our meals. Service was great, and friendly. Decent prices for the amount of food they offer. Then there's the bakery! That alone is worth the drive! Have visited several times since, always with the same great results! Highly recommend! Don't be fooled by trolling reviews!
Dear Sir,
I'm not sure if you have actually ate at this restaurant because if you think the portions are small you should be on a diet. My parents that own this restaurant are true believers of feeding their guests. IF you don't believe me try a apple fritter in the desert section. Please eat lightly for the day.
Thanks have a great day

Not going back
coffee is not the best, leaves a long after taste, a blessing really because it is better than the food. Either over cooked or under cooked. Gravy was made a week ago (has that hard slime with it). Service was slow, over 5 min just to get a coffee. Price, more expensive than a truck stop, not getting a bang for the buck, tourist trap, I didn't feel welcome there.
