July 02/2011, I was at #1950 Appleby line store for lunch today-see urbanspoon. Just stopping for a Takeout for me(supper). My pet has her 1/4 chicken in fridge for later, order Half Chicken Dinner $11.49 and can of pop $1.00. It's busy here, Milton supports this place for the quality is #1(FRESH MADE).
Still treating dad after fathers day, June 21/2011 chk#5453 4:52pm on my recipt. Dad had 1/4 chicken dinner with fries/ I had Pot Pie with butter corn and sour cream and (1) takeout 1/4 chicken dinner with fries for later on(my pet racoon) can't forget her. Bill came out to $34.08 and You have to keep your bill for it allows you to a FREE Soup or Salad or Perogies next time, expires in 21 days good at any Swiss Chalet in Ontario. Every customer bill has it printed on it. Dad Loved the chicken-NOT SALTY just right..Special right now "2 can dine for $14.99 on 1/4 chicken dinners" THAT is why I took Dad here tonight.
Wings Here are better than (Factory Pre-Breaded Wild Wing)
June 21/2011 the GreekCat came from Goodlife Fitness, with all the food I eat I have to work out 5 days/wk 1 1/2 hr each day. I talk to asst.manager we are freinds NOTE: Owner 2011 renovated the takeout area and improved service and quality-No more over salted chicken bad workers gone. HARVYS next door has a NEW OWNER 2011 and is renovated old workers gone, staff look(19-22 yrs/old) Both are CARA FOODS. I order from takeout the 8 wings/mild sauce $9.99 and $1.00 can of pepsi. Sat on picknick table ouside Subway and(you must know Cara Head Office order all stores to precook the wings!) I was told by my the manager and reheat wings up for 8min's in frier. TASTE: YUMMY I can't tell, the wings are big,meat is moist inside NOT Overcooked I LIKE IT...CARA HEAD OFFICE knows what they are doing..Great Chicken Here...I Have to go to Harvy's after for plain burger for my pet raccon she at home sleeping(still a baby).
I came here with a friend for dinner. The food and service was as expected of Swiss Chalet. They took our order, brought us drinks and food, and brought finger bowls to clean our hands. We were brought our chocolate as part of the Festive Special and the bill was also brought promptly.
As for the food quality: portion of chicken was good, fries were good as well. Everything was brought out hot and we had no issues. I don't understand why others are giving this location such poor reviews since I had a good experience. I will return to this location in future. As for the people who are giving this location such poor reviews, you can just call the Swiss Chalet head office and place a complaint about the food quality or whatever you're unhappy with. How else will they ever improve (yes I know some have said that the Manager doesn't seem to care but he sure will once head office is calling him)?
