Best Pub in Milton by Far! The beer is always great, have lots of draft to choose from. The service is great, the food is good and the atmosphere is excellent. We go all the time; do the lunch special on Saturday and Sunday, Great Draft, real Pub flavour!

Excellent

Excellent food, service, staff and surroundings. The owners here work hard to please the customers in a frienly manner. Just like the pubs in the UK.

This was simply the worst food we have ever had in a pub.How this pub gets so many good reviews i will never know.Service was so slow and so loud and all the lights were on so bright it felt like a cafeteria. The nachos were so un-dercooked it was disscusting.

My buddy spotted the review here and recommend we...

My buddy spotted the review here and recommend we try the place on a recent hiking trip to Milton. We decided to try lunch there the Saturday before Victoria Day. I hadn't had a burger in a while so I ordered that, along with the soup of the day, which was "Surf and Turf". We split a pitcher from a local micro brewery. When we got there, a fellow I think was the manager met us at the door, asked us some polite questions, and we settled in on the large, expansive patio, which is on Main Street. In short order, the waitress came with menus, took our drink order, and brought back the pitcher. I've gotten used to pitchers that yield one-and-a-half pints per person, but this one really was two quarts. The hamburger I got... I don't know what they did exactly, but it was the best hamburger I've had in years. It reminded me of hamburgers I had as a kid at The Steak and Stein in Nova Scotia. The Surf and Turf soup was a nice medley of large pieces of chicken breast and minced crab in a light, creamy broth. It was really something. When we got the bill, I was really stunned. The hamburger and soup was just under five dollars (not counting the cheddar I ordered). It was like being back in the 80s. Folks, I highly recommend this place. I look forward to my next excuse to return, and my only real regret is that Milton is as long a drive as it is from central Toronto. :)
