My son and I went to Redlobster as they had all you could eat shrimp. The service was fast and friendly. The lady we had never rushed us and when we did need anything, she was right there. I enjoy Redlobster several times per year. I like the all you can eat deals. The location is a bus or short car drive away.
For a chain, I have to say I'm always happy when I go to Red Lobster. I almost always get the fresh fish special. This time I had the Rainbow Trout, but wished I had ordered the Talapia. Regardless, it was good. Had it with broccoli and baked potato. Love the buns and the salad with balsamic dressing is just fine. My spouse had the Endless Shrimp. He tried all 6 kinds of shrimp -really liked the garlic shrimp with the seasoned bread crumbs and the grilled shrimp. I agreed with him, as I tried one of each. 1 beer & 1 pop and we were stuffed for $54.00. This is not haute cuisine but for $54.00 we were both really happy. They also have good cheesecake, but we didn't order it this time, as the endless shrimp filled us up. Really good service, as well.
I was driving down the street and saw I sign that I thought had said, "Steak and Lobster Special for $19.99., or was it wishful thinking? After being seated, I asked the server about it. She had to go and ask someone. She came back to inform me that they did not have that special. I didn't argue since I may have been wrong. So, I ordered the Shrimp on a Skewer instead, which I enjoyed. Enjoyed the biscuits, but had to ask for butter for them.
This is almost always my choice of "treat" meal as I love seafood. Definitely one of the better seafood places and reasonably priced considering the fact that seafood is normally expensive. As always, I got the Ultimate Feast, which is great for getting a little bit of everything without being overwhelmed by anything in particular. The starting biscuits and salad are nothing exciting but taste decent. The garlic and walt's favourite shrimp are always good, although sometimes I wish I could have them de-tailed ahead of time. I always eat them first as they're best hot. The lobster-tail was, as per usual, good, although I find that it does get stuck to the shell sometimes. The crab legs are sometimes a bit flavourless for crab but they're normally very good. This time the service was a little slow. I didn't get to ask for a water like I normally do and we weren't really given an option for sides, just asked if we wanted a baked potato or not. Otherwise, it was as good as always.
It's a Red Lobster. Don't expect too much, and you will not be disappointed. The food is very good, the service is attentive and it isn't overly expensive. It isn't cheap, though. I especially like their garlic shrimp and shrimp alfredo. Their biscuits are excellent.
Decent food and all, but would it kill them to take reservations? It's really annoying trying to make Red Lobster part of your events if they don't take reservations.
My mom and I always go to Red Lobster for our Mother-Daughter shopping days out and we always spoil ourselves when we're there. The past few times weren't as enjoyable and I have to say this last one was the worst ever. To start things off, the hostess picked 2 pre chewed pieces of gum off our table as she sat us... We like to order new things when we go because we love sea food and dont really have it that often. My pasta was swimming in sauce, I was only able to eat maybe 5 or 6 bites, and my mom's lobster was bad! The server had checked in after a few bites, and everything was alright at that point, I haddnt discovered the lake at the bottom of my bowl, and mom haddnt touched her lobster yet. Then the server never came back until we were so discusted we were ready for the bill. Red lobster has totally gone down hill and we deffinately do not plan on ever going back.
Best service ever! I have always been a fan of Red Lobster ever since the first time I ate there. The food is spectacular, the management is very polite, and the service is great! The food is well done and prepared with perfection. I would definatley, DEFINATLEY go there every night if I wanted to!! :D
The restaurant was very busy (Valentines Day). Neither my husband or I had been to a Red Lobster before. My husband loves seafood and thoroughly enjoyed his meal, mentioned going back to try other items on their menu. Considering this is a seafood restaurant I was pleasantly surprised with regard to how good their "non-seafood" meal was.
I have been to a red lobster previous to this time and i was very supprised at this visit. The restaurant was not busy, yet our server was quite slow and she did not seem to read us as to when we wanted our bill or to order. And it was quite sad that the best part of our meal was the rolls. They are actually awesome rolls. And the clam chowder was as i remember. As for the main courses, they tasted like they were fresh out of the microwave oven. And to be honast, i have bought better microwave meals. I will not return to a red lobster again, but make your own opinions, it could have been an off night.
We all really enjoyed the food and was really hyped about having some Lobster. I was surprised on how expensive the meals were. The rest of the people i was with spent 34.99 on their main dish, not including the drinks they also ordered. Everything was great except the police department was there and approached us while we were enjoying our dinner asking us for a donation. It might have been nicer if they came before we were dining. I was surprised the owner allowed that.
My boyfriend and I love seafood and we had quite a nice time at this retaurant. They were pretty busy on a thursday night, but we didn't wait long and our drinks came pretty quickly. The caesar salads were okay, there was a bit too much dressing for our liking, but we ate them anyways. Our food was very good and prompt as well. The only complaint I have was that our waitress was almost over attentive. She came back every 2 minutes it seemed to ask if "everything was tasting alright". Personally I like to be left alone a bit to enjoy my meal, but I also understand that she may have been new or didn't realise this. Overall a good restaurant and I would definitely return.
I love the buns but you were out of clam chowder. That might be something to improve on. Love the ultimate feast!
It was good and all, and the busboy welid was a really nice person.
Took awhile before someone came to our table at first to even get a drink order, but the rest of the meal was good. She came around after that, and the food was good except for the garlic bread that came with the meal. It was rock hard.
My trout arrived very undercooked. The waitress was very nice and sent it back, it was partially eaten before I got to the part that was uncooked and sent it back. They took my half eaten plate and cooked it some more, trying to bring back the same plate to me. I had to insist that this was not acceptable and ask for a replacement.
