My daughters are probably the newest members of the ConfiDance competitive team, having joined a year ago. After attending numerous other dance studios we have finally found a studio that we truly enjoy being a part of. ConfiDance has the perfect balance of talent, competitiveness, consideration, and sensibility. Joanne, Jess, Laurie and Trevor are fabulous teachers, and the office staff always greet you with a smile. My girls made some wonderful friendships right from the start and even the dance moms made me feel welcome. Come see what ConfiDance has to offer!
When you are a dancer at ConfiDance, you become part of the ConfiDance family! Joanne is an amazing woman who has touched the lives of many dancers and their families. She is always finding and providing the best dance classes possible for her students, and gives them so much support and encouragement! I always feel like Joanne wants the best for me, even when taking her adult classes! I have and will continue to recommend this amazing dance studio to anyone who wants their child to take part in an activity that promotes self-confidence and to belong to a family that really cares about each individual dancer. My boys have been dancing at Confidance for 5 years now. I have watched each boy transform from shy boys into outgoing boys. The support that my family has received from Joanne has been priceless. It truly is a family based studio and we love that.
My daughter has danced at Confidance since the age of 5. She joined competitive shortly after. She developed a love for dance and quickly made many new friends. Confidance has become a second home and part of the family. The teachers are amazing and have a genuine concern for your son or daughter. They are always available to the students. At competitions they are always there to support each child that dances forming a real team spirit. I have danced a few years in the adult program at Confidance and even the adult class offered a lot of fun! We could never think of going to any other studio! Thank you to Joanne and the Confidance staff for everything they have given my family.
I LOVE CONFIDANCE!!!! My niece has been dancing at Confidance for 6 years now and both of my nephews are dancing there as well, this studio is amazing. Very family oriented with lots of variety of classes for everyone from the competitive dancer to kids just wanting to take a class or two. The assistants are young but very enthusiastic and energetic. The kids have lots of fun but still learn lots of dance moves and technique, it's a very nice balance. The waiting area is very spacious with lots of room to bring siblings and I really enjoy being able to watch through the two way mirrors into the dance studios. I would HIGHLY recommend this studio!!!!

My daughter has been a dancer at Confidance Studio for 5 years. Over those years the teachers taught her how to have confidence and a great self-esteem. The environment is always upbeat and filled with enthusiasm.
We are extremely happy with Confidance. ALL the teachers and assistants at ConfiDance are amazing! Both our Son and daughter love going to dance class....and it has helped with our daughters confidence enormously! The teachers are very professional, and fun at the same time! We would recommend ConfiDance to anyone looking for a great studio for their children...or themselves! :)

I've noticed that a few of these reviews are based on the opinions of the mothers or grandmothers and not the dancers themselves. So I thought id give my opinion; from a past dancer of Confidance Studio.
Confidance studio could not have a more fulfilling name for a studio because they do just that. They give you confidence, and are always giving you positive feed back. I danced there for about five years when I was younger and stopped before entering high school, eventually getting into competitive my last few years. Now, in my 20's, I can honestly say that dancing at Confidance was one of the best experiences of my life. I was a shy and quiet girl growing up and Confidance gave me the key skills to becoming a more open girl.
The teachers are phenomenal. They're always asking what the classes opinions were on choreography, costumes, music etc. They make everyone's opinion valued while still teaching respect and self discipline.
The owner is also an amazing woman, I remember there were a few times my mother could not drive me to a competition or even a class and she always ensured that I had a ride there and back. She cares greatly about her studio and her dancers.
Any review you read should be the opinion of the dancer who took part in the studio, who was the one being taught. Signing up your son or daughter or even yourself will not be a mistake, you will develop some amazing skills that will benefit you all throughout your life.
To this day I miss Confidance and wish them all the best!
Our family has been a part of this studio for 9 years. Initially we chose it due to location, being close to home and stuck with it because it has become a part of our lives and our family... teachers and students etc. My children have many "dance moms" we trust and that they can go to, or drive with if we as parents aren't available. This includes the owner, teachers and other parents! Its very family friendly - with 2.5 weeks off at christmas, all holidays and Halloween off and 1 week off for March break. The season runs the beginning of September to the beginning of June. The past 2 years we have all Sundays off as a weekly family day. ConfiDance also offers regular programming and camps in the summer to keep students in shape and allows friends to stay in touch. My daughter loves this place, My son, whom is an avid hockey player, joined last year (at an older age) and is dancing everything he can this year as he's become passionate about it as well. As a parent I currently take 2 of the 3 offered Adult evening classes as well. My husband also dances in May and at their year end shows. The teachers are great overall and the students can talk with them and feel they can be understood. The kids have fun with dance. They enjoy their competitive season with most events being within 30 mins - 1.5 hrs away max (usually). The competitive group is a perfect size - last year being about 50 youth and the rec group huge. There is no pressure to join competitive. As a family you can be as involved or uninvolved as you choose. WE LOVE ConfiDance it has provided my children with opportunities they would otherwise not be able to get.
My daughter has been dancing at Confidance Studio for the past 4 years in both recreational and competitive. They offer a wide variety of classes in different levels and a flexible schedule. The director is professional and wonderful with the kids. My daughter loves all her classes, teachers and has made many new friends.
I am currently researching summer camps at local dance studios when I came across these reviews and thought I would share my experiences. I am a teacher with a local Board and my child dances at Confidance. I have never seen such displays of peer bullying and ignorance of such by adults. I agree with "Grandma" in regards to the dance training and unprofessionalism of the teachers. I have also learned that the students do not participate in Ballet exams because the teachers are not certified to submit students for exams. Wish I had done my research a year ago because my decision would have been different. Goodbye Confidance!

I found ConfiDance a very family friendly studio, with amazing teachers. Most of the assistants are young , but the teachers are all qualified and professional. There is a two way mirror in both studios to watch your child the entire hour, so you can ensure your child is happy and having fun and enjoying her class.
All my daughters have loved dancing here and look forward every week to going to class. They have made many friends and have learned many skills. I feel ConfiDance has given them a love for dance.
In addition,the classes always ended and started on time, the waiting area is large with plenty of toys, books and a TV to occupy siblings. . And there is plenty of change room space.

My granddaughter heard about this studio and decided to switch but what a waste. The owner is great but the other teachers are young, inexperienced and cannot control the class. The only tool used to gain control is to yell at the top of their lungs. She learned very few new skills. My granddaughter will be switching back to her previous studio.
