My wife and I have dined there many times since...

My wife and I have dined there many times since it opened...we almost always order the same thing and we've never been disappointed with the food. However we have noticed over the past year or so that the service is getting worse and worse. On this particular night my wife and I had a romantic evening planned...a sitter for the kids...reservations were made and the table was ready when we walked in...perfect. Then it went downhill from there!!! The waiter came over and took our drink order...he looked as if he wanted to be doing anything but serving us!!! We ordered red wine and then he was gone...another server came by to take our food order...we gave it...still no wine. Finally after about 15 minutes our wine showed up but the server had to stop pouring it in order for the food to be placed on our table...food and wine showing up at the same time!!!! NICE!!!! Nobody came by to ask if everything was alright...our wine was empty and our food was done and still no-one!!! When someone finally did show up he grabbed the plates and glasses and dropped a dessert menu off. Time line now is approximately an hour and a half from seating! Finally our waiter shows up...this is the first guy that we haven't seen since the wine order. He asks if we'd like dessert...we politely decline and state that we are completely un-satisfied with our experience. He slams his order booklet shut and sternly replies that he will get the manager!!! This guy is something else. The manager comes to our table to address our complaints and he doesn't believe that any of his staff could've treated us so poorly...in other words he's calling us liars!!! I proceeded to tell him that I am completely not impressed with the service or his responses and I refused to pay the bill. At that point he stated that he will have a chat with the server and that he wouldn't force me to pay the bill...needless to say, we left without paying!!! It will take new management and a completely new serving staff before I ever set foot in that place again!!!!

They deserve 0's across the board. We booked a...

They deserve 0's across the board. We booked a table in advance and were told that by picking a certain time that we would not be forced to leave by a certain time. When we arrived we were told that our table was being prepared (we could see an empty table that would fit our group sitting empty but were not offered that table - instead they insisted on us waiting for a different table that still had guests at it). We waited about an hour - and still no table. We were told that the people at our table were leaving soon - (they were ordering desserts) and showed no hurry in the leaving. We left hungry and angry. The young man who was supposed to the be "manager" on duty lacked professionalism and tact. It was probably the worst experience we've ever had a restaurant. Don't go it's not worth it.

We had a reservation for Jan 21 2006 @ 7:30 PM...

We had a reservation for Jan 21 2006 @ 7:30 PM and left at 8:05 PM do to the restaurant not having our reservation ready. We voiced our concern and the supervisor really didn't seem to care. We will never be returning to the Baton Rouge.
