Best food in town,I drive 45 minutes to come here! Everything is amazing!
On more than one occasion I have had delivery. I ordered on behalf of a client and informed the delivery person I could not tip because I was paying with my clients money. I was ripped apart and rudely spoken to by the driver because I was not able to tip. Telephone service is terrible as the staff have little to no people skills. It's a shame the service is so bad because the food is fantastic. Management should look into better service staff.
Gross food and terrible customer 'service'...no more need be said.
Sloppy undercooked pizza and nasty fried ravioli! Pretty bad when my boys who eat their own boogers wouldnt eat it.
They may have lucked out with getting a feature on You Gotta Eat Here! However I fear this won't last. Don't get me wrong. Between four adults, we shared a large salad, appy platter and a large thick crust pizza. So full that we went home with more than half the pizza left. Just finished the last piece for lunch today. Delicious! However, there were a few things which weren't so great. First of all the "large salad" didn't seem like anything more than the salad in a bag you buy at the grocery store. It was mostly lettuce with about five cherry tomatoes and some purple cabbgage. The appy platter was five raviollis and about twenty mushrooms for $10, which to me is overpriced. Now the reason I think this won't last once the hype wears off... They charged us .75 for spicy dipping sauce. Which to me tasted like regular marinara with some hot peppers thrown in. Wasn't remotely spicy. Second, no free refills. I mean, most restaurant diners are used to getting refills. Why irk people over 2 cents worth of syrup? Third is the line-up. As people start to get tired of waiting for the line, word will get around about other places nearby that almost as good and things will start to trail off. Incidentally speaking of line-ups, we and several others were sitting in our cars waiting for them to open at 4:30. When I came up to the front door, they were already open. Would be nice if they changed the sign on the door to reflect the actual hours. So, about the pizza. I see why this is their specialty. The thick crust was moist, but airy. Not too doughy. The italian sausage was big chunks. Fresh slices of pepper and mushroom. Having said that there wasn't as much sauce on the pizza as I would have liked, but maybe that's part of the "Chicago Style". Its a bit far from home, but I would be tempted to try their pasta next time I am in town. Would I recommend it? Yes... if you are in Hamilton and like pizza. Get there early. FYI there is no parking lot. 1 hour street parking only. Restaurant is handcap accessable, but washrooms are located in the basement and the stairs are steep.
