In their heart of hearts, what many women want when it comes to footwear is style, but not at the cost of comfort. Marg Seaton-Logeman, owner of The Glass Slipper, has balanced this formula with the shoes and boots she sells at her Bowmanville store. “What we do best is variety,” she says. “We do shoes that stand out but are always functional. Even when they have heels, they’re shoes that can be worn all day.”
Marg has searched high and low for the right suppliers since she opened her store in 2006 and has found that footwear from across the pond ticks all the boxes. “We stock a lot of European designs from France, Germany and Italy in particular. They’re good at combining comfort with fashion and I like the quality," she explains.
