This restaurant called Ajisai is the worst...

This restaurant called Ajisai is the worst dining experience I have ever experienced as a diner. The food was not prepared properly and not too mention they had screwed up my order twice! The so called "sushi" was not prepared or even fresh for sushi standards. The customer service was the worst considering the wait staff couldn't speak a word of english and could only speak chinese. This place needs a a complete overhaul!

Unfortunate experience was had here today. It was my first time dining at this restaurant. I was having a meeting with one of my colleagues and we decided to dine at this restaurant as my colleague has frequented it before. Understandably, it was quite busy due to the lunchtime crowd....however: we waited for 1:20 mins. before our food arrived! Our order was taken and it was not until 45mins had passed that we realized that other patrons whom arrived after us and with larger groups than our 2 person party were receiving their food. On 2 occassions myself and my colleague inquired about the delay, the service took a decidedly worse turn: we were met with defensive, laiser-faire attitudes by the staff and management. At one point the entirely wrong food was placed in front of us by a person wearing a winter jacket and carrying a purse (apparently she worked there). I insisted we leave without our food but my colleague was starved and wanted the restaurant to compensate us for our time. We had to place our order again (we are at 1hr. 10mins here and no food or apology) and when the food finally came the order was wrong ie. we stressed no tobiko and there was tobiko on all the rolls we ordered. At the end of it all all we received was a weak smile and 20% off our horribly late and bad food. I must say I will not be returning. The service was truly the worst I have received.

Bar none, the worst sushi I've ever had and possible the worst dining experience ever. Anyone who's ever had good sushi should not eat here. The food is tasteless and it's hard to find anything in any of the rolls except rice, avocado, and mayonaise. If you pulled out a microscope, you might find some fish or crab. For the non-sushi eater, they offer a wide array of deep fried batter. We had an order of sweet & sour chicken and you couldn't find meat in 70% of the pieces. Absolutely terrible!!! When mentioned to the staff that the meal was substandard, the staff were clueless. I found it rude that they turned away and started talking japanese. They obviously have no training or no means of dealing with complaints. I was not looking for a free meal but felt that my displeasure should be voiced. Do yourself a favour and do not eat at Aji Sai; our experience was abysmal. Overall... 0/10.

Not impressed! If you know and enjoy authentic fresh sushi, this place is a bust. First, mayo is the main ingredient??? Second, I have never been to a Japanese restaurant that serves sweet and sour chicken and wings next to sushi. No wasabi, no ginger, this place is a joke. Lets not forget the service...when we asked to speak to a manager, the waitress said "that will not matter"!!!! Nice!
