Sally Wang and her husband Anthony Lian have been running convenience stores for a long time, and have found that without fail, customers love their helpful personalities and the welcoming atmosphere they strive to create. Sally Store is their latest project, in Kitsilano, and Sally says it took barely any time at all for customers to start flocking in once they realized who was running the neighbourhood’s new convenience store.
“It’s my personal character,” Sally proudly explains, “I’m really friendly, easy to communicate with.” With so many options when it comes to convenience stores, Sally and Anthony know that what sets them apart is the earnest, positive way they treat every customer.
