Harvest Deli owner Rami Zibat believes it's the New York–style cuisine that keeps drawing customers to his business. Before coming to Vancouver, he lived in Michigan and helped operate a large deli there for seven years. That experience shaped his approach to running a successful business, which focuses heavily on great customer service. However, it's the food most people associate with classic New York cuisine that really struck a chord with him, and that's what he's brought to Kitsilano.

“Most of the food is made from scratch,” he says, referring to the wide range of tasty options on the menu, including corned beef, pastrami, chicken, bacon and salmon. “You name it, there's something for everybody.”
