I have moved with Real Canada Wide Moving twice and both times I received excellent service. Both of my shipments arrived without any problems, and the pricing was incredibly straightforward. No surprises . The guys on the moving crew were hardworking and polite. First move for my family. We moved from Grande Prairie to Okotoks , AB. Our 2nd move for my office from Grande Prairie, AB to Calgary,AB. Great experience. The moving guys worked so hard to make sure everything went smoothly.
Didn't show up. I flew with my wife to Montreal from Alberta to assist our daughter's packing and clean up of apartment. We had confirmed booking for move on Sept.29th between 8 - 11 am. At 8:11am that morning we received a call that truck had broken down day before and the soonest they could move our daughter's belongings was in 5 days. I asked if any solutions they could provide us and they recommended we hire a moving truck to pick-up and store until they could get there (ironic?).
Not super professional and not careful with my things. Bunch of stuff damaged and a floor safe mysteriously failed to arrive at my new house.
Language barrier made it extremely difficult to communicate; might as well have had them put everything in my garage as they never put stuff in the right room.
Estimates are low-balled, move ended up costing 40% more than we had anticipated (maybe we just have really heavy stuff, who knows).
Would not recommend.
NEVER HIRE They changed the pickup date to make sure our stuff would arrive on time, never showed up on the day and did not call to tell us they were running late, changed the time 3 times then never showed up. said our stuff would arrive in Calgary by the 3rd when we would be there on the 1st. Had to call them every time we wanted an answer or the invoice. Multiple times there was no answer and no call back when they said they would. Refuse a discount or refund. Manager is terrible!!!
Do not use this company.
My pickup date was for 30 June. Two days before my planned move they inform the pickup date needs to be changed to the 29th or 1 July due to inspection on the 30th. What a bogus excuse knowing it is the long weekend. So I accept led the 29th and asked for an afternoon pickup. They got back to me with a timing between 3-7 PM and the driver will contact me 30 minutes prior. After numerous attempts and a closed office still no news at 7:23.

1- 5 star for : They did pick up and delivery on time. (Guelph, ON to Edmonton,AB)
2-5 star for : When I call for sure somebody answer my questions.
3-4 star I have a glass (small coffe table top) broken.
4-5 star they solved my claim in 3 weeks.
6- 5 star they have no hidden fee.
7- Happy New year.

terrible company. Once you claim any furniture damages, they don't want to take any responsibility and blame you didn't buy the extra insurance which they never mentioned to you before moving.

I moved with Real Canada Wide Moving Services from Calgary to Halifax, they did pretty good job for me. They picked it up on time and delivery on time, nothing broken or missing (except picture frame-they paid later on) I have 8500 lbs shipment and basically they did excellent job. I really appreciated Gabriela and their driver Dawit. Good people, good service, I like it very much.
WORST movers ever. Picked up on time but delivered 10 days late. Changed their story everytime you call. Lost items. Damaged items. Delivered items that were not ours. Rude agents on the phone. ONE mover only. Smoked the whole time. Wrapped our items in packing tape - took hours to remove. Damaged ALL items of furniture. ZERO stars. Worst movers ever!!!!
If you have a tight budget, I recommended you go with Real Canada Wide Moving. They are not the best company around. But they have a very good rate and free storage. I have very limited budget and I moved from Calgary to Montreal last month. They did very good job, they delivered my goods on time in Montreal. I was very happy because of their good service and price. Again if you have limited budget, I recommended this company. Nathan
Paid over $1700 for them to move some things from AB to BC. We had our landlord let the movers in as we weren't there yet, when we arrived we are missing a mattress and box spring, they have broken a lot of screws out of everything so nothing fits together anymore, the boxes labeled FRAGILE had been stacked below things and the majority of our plastic moving bins have been absolutely DESTROYED, they took OUR moving blankets, and to top it all of they won't answer our calls or return messages!!!!

My friend recommended this guy, he moved with them summer time. I moved from Montreal,QC to Edmonton,AB. I used their 5 weeks free storage, plus they give me extra 1 week free storage. After I found house in Edmonton, they delivered my shipment to my new addresses. They have very good crew, very nice people.

This company was able to fit me in on very short notice (the day before i needed to be out of my place) and got me into my new apartment very quickly. It was an hourly rate and i ended up paying exactly as they said, not like the last company i used. If your moving in edmonton and need a reliable company REAL CANADA is the way to go.
Great customer service, I had a few broken items but its understandable when your going across the country. I recommend wrapping everything in bubble wrap and you wont have any problems. Over all a good company.
I used Real Canada Moving Services few weeks ago for the second time, they did a great job back than and once again on my recent move. These movers are brilliant. They have the complete knowledge about their work and they know how to deal with the pressure and odds according to the situation. Lookout , zero responsibilities , unprofessional company , they don't even answer your call or respond to your email after they lose your stuff
so they break my couch and lost two box with lots of item in it , simple don't care every time i call they asked me to send email , then nothing ,
i am glad at least i got some of my stuff
I have moved with the help of real canada wide moving, and all I can really say is that I am quite impressed with the service provided for a low cost service that would otherwise would have costed me more money. It was a last minute move and they had managed to move me right away.
I had all my belongings packed and transported with this company and everything was all done in a timely manner and handled nicely by the hard working movers. The customer service was great, so I would use them again
Very bad experience with this company. I paid them to pack all my belongings and the packers were negligent, forgetting to pack items, which I had to bring to the warehouse, and not protecting fragile items (I found glassware thrown into a wardrobe box), resulting in damages of $1K to my belongings. Despite many emails, the company only reimbursed me $150. DO NOT believe their website that claims "professional packing and ensuring everything is well protected." I would absolutely NOT recommend!!
