After 20 years in the construction industry, Travis Nogier was ready for a change, and started looking for ways out. Coincidentally, his brother had been in the hotel industry for 20 years and was also looking for a new career path.
Travis' search led him to Windsor Rose Gastropub, which was owned by Sab Maddalo at the time. “It was close to where I live and I loved the location. So I went for it,” says Travis, who became co-owner with Sab in April 2014. “It stood out when I was looking. The way it is designed, and the building itself, is just gorgeous.”
After a stint in the construction business, Travis' brother helped him for a while at the WindsorRoseGastropub as well. “He was integral to helping me with the restaurant," says Travis, "but he still wanted a career change. After a few months, he went his own way.”
