Tamam is the name of the owner, the cook and the restaurant. The owner and cook -- together with her filmmaker husband -- came to Vancouver from the Old City of Jerusalem and cooks with all the freshness and flavour of that most remarkable place.
The menu is as authentic as they come. The signature dish is mujaddarah, savory rice and lentils softly blended with crispy fried onions on top.
I recommend Tamam to everyone looking for an authentic Palestinian gustatory experience.

If you like a good donair you should try the Donair Hut! The food is fresh, and the meat all slowly cooked to perfection. Beef, Chicken, Lamb and Falafels. He also makes excellent noodle and rice bowls. All the ingredients are fresh, and made daily. He makes the best hummus and tatziki! I also really enjoy the contemporary spin on the basic donair as he puts together some yummy combinations. I've never had a bad meal, and the owner is a really kind and friendly man! I bet you'll have a new favourite too!

I've had several meals at this café and the food is excellent. My favourite is the chicken donair with rice, and greek salad. Good sized portions, and they don't cheap out on the yogurt or, various sauces. Good stuff. I'll definitely be back over, and over :)
