It’s time to warm up for a good cause! Few things could be more enjoyable than participating in La grande tournée du chocolat chaud. Chocolatiers and pastry chefs welcome you from January 16-24, 2016, with a very special range of Valrhona hot chocolates, sold for $3 a cup. From this amount, 50 cents will go to la Tablée des chefs, whose mission is to provide food to people in need and provide culinary education to youth.
A hot chocolate made with Biskelia 34% chocolate, with a dash of milk and cocoa. You will be served a creamy hot chocolate "with notes of toasted biscuit and soft caramel".
Point G’s "choco-chai latte" is made from Otucan 69% chocolate that offers "a sweet, lingering bitterness with a little sweetness that highlights the floral notes."
La Tablette’s hot chocolate is prepared with Ivoire 35% white chocolate with lemon and salt. Take a sip to enjoy its smooth flavour and delicious vanilla aromas.
"Le Choco viennois" is made from Bahibe 46% chocolate and is sure to warm and delight you.
Their "choco kalingo caramelia" is a happy blend of two chocolates that will leave a spicy caramel taste in your mouth.
The "S'mores de Juliette" awaits you, made from Manjari 64% chocolate. You will taste the tangy aroma of red berries "on a delicate finale of toasted dried fruits." Mmmmm.
Here you’ll find a choco-mint Illanka 63% with "a creamy texture and a rare chocolate strength seasoned with notes of mint."
Taste the "Flocon de neige" (snowflake), made from Araguani 72% chocolate reminiscent of raisins, chestnuts and licorice.
Their black cherry hot chocolate combines Tanariva 33% chocolate with notes of milk and Guanaja 70% chocolate with "an amazing bitterness."
A nice blend of milk, cream and Biskelia 34% chocolate "with notes of toasted biscuit."
Hot chocolate, black sesame and orange blend well together here, all pulled together by Jivara 40% chocolate.
How about a marshmallow hot chocolate (yes!), with clementine and caramelized hazelnut chips. The chocolate used is Jivara 40%.
A small liquid Tiramisu? Yes, please! It contains Opalys 33% white chocolate and aromas of fresh milk and natural vanilla.
