First of all I generally do stronger colour themes. As people can see from my past work, I enjoy coordinating vibrant vivid and unconventional hues creating an interesting and dynamic atmosphere. My style is eclectic mixing both modern and vintage. The number one rule I have is to never copy other people’s work. I create my own unique twist sparking people into fun conversation. The interiors and exteriors I conceive for clients by utilizing everyday construction materials in distinctive and interesting ways, challenges my creativity. Making things seem more expensive then they really are is my objective. I always tell clients it’s not about spending a million dollars but rather coordinating the correct materials in such a way that it looks as though you did… Turning the ordinary into the extraordinary, even on a modest budget is one of my strengths. As much as I can appreciate transforming an “ugly duckling” into a “swan”, there are many important challenges to a renovation project. Anxiety of dealing with contractors, ordering materials, timeline, personal style choices, budget constraints, deciding where to spend your hard earned dollars, upgrading to better materials versus “cheaping out”, and effective use of space just to name a few…

01. My limitations and expectations of clients:
I am NOT an accredited Interior Designer or architect by trade, educational background, nor do I have engineering or structural expertise. I appreciate open-minded clients, as my ideas sometimes do not follow the mainstream. I always engage in people’s honest feedback.
02. My Education and work background:
My background is in Marketing, as well as years of work experience with project management, customer relations, transportation and logistics, purchasing, production procedures, manufacturing and quality control. These attributes help in my diverse knowledge and understanding of the realities of material lead times, finding alternative solutions, and meeting realistic budget targets.
03. My rates and work ethic:
$75 per hour includes time, mileage and fuel. A negotiated or predetermined flat rate for home remodels is based on project size, timeline, and also derived from “ON Call” requirements. Each project can be unique and as such my rates can be adjusted depending on the scope of the project.
I do enjoy my work and also my time away. I have a “work to live” mentality and time off to relax and enjoy life sometimes is important to me.
