Tong's Wok invites you to their restaurant. They are open late from Monday to Friday. You can get there by car. They are positioned in a neighborhood characterized with parks.
We phoned an order last night and it was never delivered then I phoned today and they told me they had the wrong phone number and address but yet they phoned me and when I picked up the phone and they hung up on me so I phoned them back and they .. iwouldn't answer. So today when I phoned they tryed to blame me
Food was tasteless except for anything deep fried. It tasted like rancid oil and we called in to say we were missing an item from our order and they ignored the call I guess because they never returned with it.
I have been enjoying Chinese Food for as long as I can remember. I know what to order and what to explore. I remebered visiting Tong's 3 years ago and bowed not to come there again based on the quality of food. But alas! I was so hungry yesterday with my kids and thought I should give them another chance. Oh boy was I ever right not to come back there again. Fried rice was oughful, it seems like it was cooked last night, you know when you have left over and microwave it the following day? Their eggroll were equally bad, broccoli with beef was mediocre, though vegetables were fresh. I guess the only good thing that happened was my kids were able to eat them. Over all, I am a compassionate invidual, would give someone a second chance. That second chance normally ends in sweet memories but not this one! I will never set my foot in this restaurant again even in 20 years!

Well I have been going to this restaurant since they had one on Northumberland (Tong's Wok ll) can't say how many times my family and I have dined there, to many to count. I have tried many Asian places in town over the years and there are many many good ones but I find that I like Tong's Wok in the long run to be the best and most consistent in the quality of their food, it seems that the majority of things on the menu are par for the course and are the same as any asian place but, the specialties are in my opinion the best in town, eg. the sizzeling platters are the finest in town ( shrimp in black bean and garlic, cantonese chow main, szechuan shrimp or any of the specialty dishes) the sweet&sour pineapple lean pork is always a staple and the special won ton is to die for. We will be returning many times in the future I'm sure.
If your into egg rolls like myself youv'e got to try these rolls. Ive eaten at other places, but by far this the best place to get Excellent egg rolls in all of Saskatoon.
