I am a firstnations woman. I went to shoppers on 8th street to purchase tampons and a giftcard on January 15th. The trainee working the cashier did not know how to ring in the giftcard so called the other lady working, Leslie. After telling her how, the first thing Leslie told me was “you have to insert your card we don’t know if it’s stolen or not.” I found this statement very prejudice and the way she handled me being upset by her remark was humiliating on her part. I will never go back.
