    We have been on a contract with Reliance MacKenzie for a couple years and the technician (Josh) is fantastic, but, trying to book a service appointment is an excruciating experience ... I just spent over an hour on the phone through the Toronto call centre to book a furnace maintenance appointment for my furnace in Regina. They have to fix this ridiculous system or they will loose a lot of business. Howard C

    Mistake after mistake. My stairs were destroyed. A quote went from 20 to 120 in less than 24 hours. No communication between workers resulting in a solid 15 visits to my house in the middle of a pandemic when there should have been 3 max. No clean-up done after install, screws and wires left all over my basement. Some employees leave before the job is complete (hole left in my wall) 500 back guarantee is only if your house is 0 degrees for 24 hour after a furnace install, not for poor service.

    Had two Goodman high efficiency modulating furnaces installed plus 2 Sear 16 air conditioners installed one month ago. Furnaces have been working with no issues. Air conditioners will have to wait until next year but sure they will be good too. Installation very professional. Ty, Max and Cameron could not have been better to have in our home. Really were helpful and cleaned up very well. Wish we had them when we did our renovation. A couple of items remaining but confident they will get done

    Only had their furnace on a lease for a year and nothing but trouble. They make all kinds of promises and then don't deliver. The first week we had our furnace a piece of the hosing fell off....made several calls and it's a year later and no one has come to look at it. Was told they automatically came every year to replace filters and service to make sure is all working great.been a year 10 months and still no one has come. Phoned again last week to make appointment for today..and noshow again

    Woke up to a leaking water which is rented through Reliance MacKenzie Plumbing and Heating. The company switched around appointments so I could get service that day. Stefou came out with a big smile and friendly disposition, analyzed the issue and replaced the existing water heater with a cranked tank with a new one that afternoon. Highly recommend this company if service is of any importance to you.

    Firstly, we received a quote for our request for service within 2 hours.Great. Secondly,after booking the service, at our convenience date, the technician, Alex H., arrived on time. Lastly, and most important to us, Alex H. was probably the most competent technician that I have ever met. He performed the service conversion nat.gas furnace to LP and installed a new electric water heater, and provided valuable advice on operation and future service. Yes, I would highly recommend MacKensie P&H.

    Didn't get the job done

    I have two problems with my air exchanger: excessive noise and an electrical issue. After the first visit by a MacKenzie technician I was told the noise was due to dirty filters (clean filters didn't make a difference) and the electrical issue must be due to a faulty circuit board because "it couldn't be anything else". I was charged for two hours' service. Upon the second visit I was told there's actually nothing that can be done about the noise and that the new circuit board didn't resolve the electrical issue. At least this visit was free, or was it? On the third visit the technician brought an electrician, but after two hours they failed to diagnose the electrical problem (but generously offered to replace the unit for $3,900) Did they track down and bring the air exchanger manual to save themselves time and save me money? No, they elected for trial and error servicing. They said the electrician's portion of the third visit was no charge but still charged me for 4 hours' work for a 2 hour visit. I was told that the extra was for the time it took to reach my house (7 minutes east of the edge of the city) and to pick up parts (they didn't bring any parts to the third visit). Obviously they were trying to recoup the costs of the second "free" service call or of bringing out the electrician.
