While other restaurants come and go so quickly you can't keep track, Tavern on the Square is something of a Westmount institution, serving up delicious, lovingly prepared food for almost 15 years. The menu includes favourites like the decadent mac and cheese made with raw milk cheeses and black truffle puree, as well as daily seasonal specials that feature local, fresh products that are organic and free-range wherever possible. With a great ambiance, wonderful service and fantastic food, Tavern has definitely earned its enduring success.

Here, it's made with four different cheeses: Comté, Victor & Berfold, Parmesan and Mascarpone. As if that weren’t enough, they add pancetta and black truffle purée. The Comté, Victor & Berfold, Parmesan and Mascarpone cheeses add so much creaminess to the sauce while the crispy pancetta adds salt and crunch. Taverne on the Square is a posh little white tablecloth eatery that shows you that comfort food can be found absolutely anywhere!
