Let Chef Jonathan take you on a culinary adventure across multiple countries, including Jerusalem, Italy and China. Jonathan Cheung is the co-author of “Montreal Cooks,” and the actual concept of Appetite For Books is (as it suggests) cooking inspired by cookbooks. For example, there's a cooking class inspired by “Jamie's Italy” by Chef Jamie Oliver, and other classes inspired by books on pastries and tapas.
Of course, we can't leave out Appetite for Books: a workshop and bookstore featuring a door handle shaped like a giant whip, a large frame made from recycled pot covers, a fully equipped kitchen ready to welcome you for classes and private cooking demonstrations, and of course, an impressive array of cookbooks and literature about food!
In addition to its extensive collection of cookbooks, Appetite for books offers English-language presentations and tastings for all culinary skill levels. You'll be asked to explore different cooking techniques and culinary styles, and can then explore recipes from their cookbooks. Private lessons from Chef Jonathan are also available.
