For Lise Dang, Vietnamese cuisine is primarily a family affair: "As a child, I was already watching my mother at the stoves of the restaurant she ran in Marseille with my father." When the Dang family crossed the Atlantic to come to Montreal, they went into the restaurant business, naturally. "I've lived and breathed it, and I've always wanted to make it my job," says Lise, "however, my parents discouraged me from this line of work as they considered it too difficult."
After considering a career in healthcare, and time spent studying at HEC Montreal, Lise revisited the idea of opening up a restaurant. She wanted to radiate the Vietnamese culture that her parents gave her. "I took advantage of my time at HEC by taking an entrepreneurship course, always with the same desire to open a restaurant. I had so many ideas, my head was about to explode!" she remembers. Seeing her determination, her parents then offered to take the reins of Sao Sao, their second restaurant in Quebec. "Sao means star.It was my father who came up with the name, after his two daughters."

Merci beaucoup ! À bientôt :)
Excellent soup for the lunch time. Prices are correct too; don't expect to go there for the service; it's more lile a cafeteria were you moce your plateau from the counter to your place :) 12$ for a lunch.
I love this place
Delicious Vietnamese food, Banh Mi's and soups are great!
