Sam Tadros lived in Brazil for 15 years before coming to Quebec. With a strong background in catering, he went after his passion in the summer of '98. He opened Le Milsa on Montreal's Crescent Street, a restaurant specializing in Brazilian cuisine.
Eventually he needed a bigger space and moved to Bishop Street; now there are three locations, in Montreal, Laval and Brossard. "My father ran bars and restaurants. He's done a little bit of everything," says his daughter, Luana. Sam's wife, meanwhile, with her background in real estate, was experiencing the restaurant business for the first time. The restaurant is named after her.
Sam and his family love the food industry as it allows them to meet interesting people and make them happy. It's also a family experience of which Luana is very proud. Her mother takes care of the administrative duties and her father coordinates and supervises, while Luana is mainly in charge of social media.
