Diane Berthelet has loved and wanted to care for animals and little critters since she was a child. So it was no surprise that she decided to become a veterinarian. She worked for other vets to gain solid experience and realized surgery was her passion.
Diane didn't initially envision herself as owning a clinic. But when she became pregnant and gave birth to twins, life as she had known it changed forever. She dreamed of having a flexible work schedule so she could also take care of her children. That's when she began offering home services.
As the idea took off and the practice grew, she hired staff and acquired a retail space in Rosemont. Her business continued to grow year after year. "Now I find myself with two clinics. This wasn't expected," Diane says. She is the proud owner of the Sur 4 Pattes Veterinary Clinic inc. and the Angus Shop Veterinary Office, which also offers alternative health services and stress management for animals.
