Moved from Ontario, needed a doctor to get a prescription, PEI has a massive underfunded health care system, probably one of the worst , however we booked an appointment with the receptionist, she was 5 stars .. very warm and caring, the wait time is very long due to massive influx of patients for one doctor. We came back at around 3:00 pm and saw Dr Naqvi..We saw him at 4:00 pm. He attended to us ,asked lots of questions and recommended we do a blood analysis test before the prescription . A+
NOT a walk-in Clinic! They will turn you away. Passive-aggressive receptionist. Doctor in the reception area won’t even look at you. Hours posted online are NOT for walk-in.
This is NOT a Walk-In Clinic. No one answers the phone and no details about how this clinic actually operates. Our Dr retired, we are now on a massive provincial waiting list, and there are very few open walk-in clinics on the island (during Covid at least it would seem). I drove out to this clinic, 45 min, to learn that the Dr sees his own patients first, and that I was go home and wait for a call, with 13 people ahead of me (at noon). I live 45 min away, so I can’t use this service.
went an hour early to be first. doctor arrived at 1145 am for a 9 oclock clinic then his own patients with prebooked appointments went first. waited 4.5 hours . zero dignity given. dont support this office.
Being from the USA we had been unable to access a doctor on PEI for many years & all clinics refused us but this one. We arrived well before they opened, paid a $100 fee and saw Dr. Naqvi. He refilled my US prescriptions & in 4 mins had my husbands golf elbow diagnosed, treatment and rest. My 2nd visit he diagnosed me with respiratory infec, prescribed antibiotic, & unasked gave me advice on a med to add to my diabetes treatment if my doc at home agreed-which he did. Big improvement in my care.
ABSOLUTELY the WORST clinic Ive been to in Pei,nova Scotia and NB. Registered at 2in the afternoon, didnt get in to see Dr naquz or whatever his name is until almost 8pm. He refused to give what I needed and also kicked me out for QUIETLY AND POLIETLY disagreeing with his advice. The doctor forcefully followed and pushed me to the doors and proceeded to called the cops claiming I was throwing office property. This docoltos office is a good place to go to get the WORST care possible.
