An attractive first impression comes down to two things: a flattering haircut and the right eyeglasses.
“Glasses are the first thing people see when they look at someone’s face. If the glasses are not right, everything else falls apart,” says Bob Karir, owner of Karir Eyewear, a small chain of optical stores with locations in Yorkville, First Canadian Place and Yorkdale Shopping Centre.
In his own bright blue frames from an up-and-coming Toronto designer, Bob says his passion is helping people look good and see better. “Glasses add personality to a face. Some people think of them as medical devices; they’re not, they’re fashion.”
