Poor restaurant overall. Food was not good at all.... just because it’s pasta and pizza doesn’t make it Italian. Decor was very old and dingy. Service was mediocre. Would not recommend.
Business must be so good at Corrado's that they don't need or want mine. I had booked for a party of 8 for Easter Sunday and when I called back asking if it would be okay to bring a cake as it was a birthday celebration, I was told there would be a slicing charge of $1.95 per person.I was surprised and asked to speak to the manager and I was told the same. I said that I would probably spend $150 - $200 including drinks but he still insisted there would be a charge regardless. When I hesitated with a reply I was asked if I wanted to cancel my reservation. I said not yet but I have done so since. I will never visit this establishment again with such arrogant people managing. The manager also said that if he allowed outside food (cake) others would be bringing there own steaks. Unreal! I now have reservations at Milestones where I will spend more than at Corrado's so money was not my concern. P.S. I'm allowed to bring my own cake. NB
Went to corrados last week against my better judgement . Should have known from previous experience the food here is mediocre at the best of times. Have been giving this place the benefit of the doubt since they Opened but last week was truly the final straw. Food was undercooked & tasteless sometimes it's just been cold and undercooked ! How many chances do they need to get it right ? Enough is enough
Went here on a rainy sunday, deck looked nice, we were unable to use it. Very solid restaurant, food was high quality and service was prompt. Not particularly memorable however.
My wife and I followed a recommendation from a friend to visit. For the first twenty minutes, we were very impressed. The decor is great, spacious. The server was attentive and prompt - a huge bonus when you have two two year olds. Once the food started to arrive, my experience started to dwindle. The buns were not fresh. The bruschetta was heavy, not light and refreshing as it should be. Also. It was serve on the same buns as we're given to us for free - not cool. My chicken carpaccio dish tasted very strange. The gravy/sauce had an overwhelming taste of walnuts. I left the plate half empty. Overall, the food lacked flavor and I won't be rushing back. I might return to try the pizza. I wish I could have been more thrilled by the food, because I thought I had found a great restaurant.
Stopped in on our way to the cottage, what a great building from top to bottom. This place has so much to offer, pizza, seafood, steak, kids menu! We were offered a spot on the patio or on the main level,my kids asked if they could eat upstairs and were told it was adults only! How great is that! we love our kids but it is nice to have a spot to get away once in awhile! The specials during the week are almost unbeliveable! I'll be back again and again, thanks Corrado's!
Wanted to bring some guests for dinner on Saturday night. No interest in waiting in line with my guests. The lady on the phone was quite rude. Won't be going there anytime soon.
We were really turned off by the pizza. Corrado could not have been cooking that night. I have eaten way better pizza this one was blah.
Food was outstanding. Our server was excellant; did have a minor run in with what seemed to be the bartendar who was rude or angry, not sure. Would visit again, however ask for a specific server.
Amazing - good food beautifully presented , superb ambience, knowledgeable attentive serving staff, owners visiting tables to ensure that everyone is happy - this is a five star restaurant - they even have a loft for more intimate dining (night out without the kids) - kids are welcomed on the main floor - they go way far beyond the norm! Hugely impressed!!!!!
The service was excellent. The waitress was attentive but did not hover over us. Plates were cleared when we were done each course, requests for replacement drinks was done before we were slurping air up the straws. The atmosphere was a little loud because of the open space. It was a very busy place and all the plates that passed our table looked delicious. The only real negative was that our table for two was very small, especially when our oversized plates were put onto it.
Contemporary Casual Italian dinning. Great place to take the family or have a quiet night with your significant other. Menu items range from Panini's to Lamb. Pizza's have a crisp thin crust, simple and fresh tasting. The best cesar salad I've ever had. Price range is reasonable, anywhere from $10 - $20. I've had a couple of different pasta dishes that came hot and delicious. Our waitress was friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. The restaraunt was very busy, but that's a sign of a good place to eat.
My husband and I attended Corrado's for an nice night out. We were confused by the entrance to the restaurant and did not like that we had to walk through the dining room (where diners were eating) to get to the back of the restaurant to get in line. There wasn't enough room to stand at the back and so we were forced to stand between tables while diners ate...very uncomfortable. We thought that the atmosphere seemed nice, however, I would have been very unhappy to be the diners who had people standing beside their table. We enjoyed our food and were pleased with our service from the waitress. It was difficult to figure out what type of atmosphere Corrado's was trying to achieve as the colours and decor would suggest a romantic experience but the layout, noise and traffic would suggest a very casual restaurant. I'm not sure that I would go back despite the food...I think it would be a better restaurant if they took reservations to avoid the chaos. Corrado's is a very busy restaurant and the wait is long. My husband and I are not picky by any means, but, there are a number of other places I would suggest before Corrado's.
