Be careful with the cheap drinks

Be careful with the cheap drinks at this place because the bartender won't tell you if you order something that is not cheap like at most other establishments (is it really that hard to say "Just so you know, X is not $3"??). We spent at least 3 hours here, ordering round after round, and it wasn't until the very end of the night when I was ordering my last drink that I realized it - $18 for a double crown and coke?!??!? ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?! I could have gone to any number of nicer locations closer to the downtown core and paid a fraction of that price ... once I realized how outlandishly priced my drinks were I realized that she probably kept it quiet on purpose - this is either how they make their money, or she was just quietly enjoying how much it was inflating her tip every round. Absolutely unbelievable and unacceptable. Will not EVER go back to this place.

Went for sumerlicious and the menu wasn't very good. Seems more like a club. I don't recommend this place for dinner. Maybe with a large group.

Mojitos to whisk you away from Toronto to the tropics

Mojitos to whisk you away from Toronto to the tropics

The Citizen does many cocktails well, but its version of the mojito is thirst quenching and sings of summer. Bacardi superior is mixed with mint and watermelon for a refreshing cocktail. While it isn’t a traditional mojito, it will still remind you of sitting on the beach in Cuba, soaking up the atmosphere.
