Alyssa Caverson has a wide range of experience in both criminal law and civil litigation. In her criminal and quasi-criminal defence practice, Alyssa has defended clients on charges of impaired driving, assault and sexual assault, sexual exploitation, mischief, firearms offences and other charges, including offences under the Highway Traffic Act. In her civil litigation practice, Alyssa has represented clients on subrogated claims, and on property damage, professional liability, and personal injury actions. Alyssa has appeared before all levels of court in Ontario, including appearing before the Divisional Court and the Ontario Court of Appeal.Alyssa graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2013, and was called to the bar in 2014. While she was in Toronto, Alyssa summered, articled and practiced law as an associate at a well-respected litigation firm in the downtown area. Prior to her life in law, Alyssa was a Dean’s Scholar at Laurentian University, and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in both Political Science and Economics, in 2010.
