Manager said he was the owner - doubt it. Not a nice person. I will never go there again. I will suggest to all my friends to not go there either.
Food was good. Server was embarrassed by the manager.
We had a 60th birthday March 3, 2018 upstairs. The space for 40 guests was awesome and move than enough room. The area had its own bar so it was great for the guests. The staff did an amazing job and Angie went out if her way to make sure everything went as planned. All the guests commented how great the food was. Definitely recommend! Thank you to the team at Liverpool Johns for making our evening a success!!
I've been to Liverpool John's for lunch and I'm always impressed with the large menu and the variety of daily specials. The wraparound porch is perfect for get togethers, and service is always friendly and efficient. This historic mansion is three floors and it's great to see it doing well!
Historical Building with Great Food & Entertainment
This amazing establishment is over 190 years old and has so much history! It's fantastic that it has re-opened. Great atmosphere and each floor is unique. The food portions are great and the prices are extremely reasonable.
I took a group of seven Toronto friends to Liverpool John's today for lunch and they were more than pleased with my choice of restaurants. We all ordered something different from the menu and everyone thought their food was delicious. Our waitress Linda was cheerful and friendly which made our experience that much more enjoyable. I will definitely return with my family.
Horrible service, Placed an order for pick-up and 10 mins later this Rude woman calls back to say “We can’t do the order, we are too busy” Huh? So your telling me the guests sitting in the restaurant are more important than guests calling in for pick-ups, Just say in the first place your not excepting pick-ups, Why take the order in the first place. I don’t get it, Never again.
I went to this restaurant on Sunday with two friends and It was a pleasant experience. The food was great as was the service. I would definitely eat at this restaurant again. The prices are also reasonable
Eh won’t last rent is to high so many places come and go food wasent that great and my host took so long to greet me when there was so many empty chairs

Going by the day of this review, we had softly been open for a week and were still in the process of training staff. We have had great feedback on our food and overall on our service. We are getting better by the day and busier now that we have been open over a month. We would love to see you again, maybe we can change your mind. We plan on being around a long time and look forward to being a part of the neighbourhood.
