REALLY disappointed! I ordered triple mix and top soil for the 1st time from them and was shocked for the price I paid I got such poor quality soil. The "triple mix" looked like it was mostly dried top soil with little bits of compost mixed in. Now the garden is FULL of weeds as a result. The top soil was even worse. Dried up dirt full of clumps hard as stones. The grass seed I planted is not seeding as a result. And their delivery charge of $80 to drive 6km is nuts. I feel taken advantage of.
Do not buy your top soil here! I waited till they had stock this spring, because staff at PLS promise a better product then Capital. So I waited lost a week, and what I got is over 10% gravel, and won't grow grass seed. So 2 more weeks lost trying, along with lost seed, more work, and still need to get a quality soil. Thanks PLS?
I think Peterboro Landscape Suppy service was excellent I left the tarp on my lawn where I wanted soil.but I came home from work that day and the soil was not in a spot I had left the tarp when I called they informed me that there were power lines above the truck wouldve hit they moved my tarp placed it in a new spot and dump the soil my property was left in excellent condition and thankful for the driver he got out and looked around and no one was hurt and my soil and property was left in exce
I ordered two yards of topsoil and gave clear instructions on where they were to drop it. Not only did they place it in the wrong part of my property, they ruined my front yard. After reaching out and discussing with Manager (John), I was blamed for giving "poor" instructions. He made several promises to call me back to try and resolve, and he did not even have the courtesy to return my calls. I will never be back, and would never recommend them to anyone else. Awful service.
Amazing service and products. I love my new Marquis hot tub and the staff at Peterborough Landscape Supply are amazing. Great to hear about the second location opening on Lansdowne street west in Peterborough.
I ordered 6 yards of triple mix for raised boxes, and after one rain it dried hard as concrete with big cracks in it, and contained stones and zero mulch or peat. I took a sample of what had been delivered along with a second sample I had previously ordered from Scott's (great triple mix). I was told by one employee it was indeed not triple mix but he didn't know what it was. Another woman looked at both samples and only said that the Scott's product was not triple mix. No help there!
We ordered 2 yards of triple mix and 4 yards of bark mulch. The delivered amounts are much less than we ordered - the resulting pile of triple mix is only slightly smaller than the mulch pile
From past experience the amount of soil in my driveway is likely 1.5 yards and the mulch is in the order of 2.5.
Peterborough Landscape Supply said that the piles are small because of product compression. If this was the case I should have received more. A manager was to callback - no call received
Poor service. The product they sent was not as purchased and they were difficult to contact. Never made it right and I have 4 yards of something in my yard that is as hard as a rock and does not grow plants, but should have been triple mix.
Peterborough landscape supply is the best ever. They have everything you need from plants to soil to mulch. They have an amazing staff that is very knowlegeable and always looking to help.
They did two deliveries for me and the spot was really tight but they put the mulch and soil right where i wanted them too
