We have visited many Italian reataurants throughout Ontario from Brockville to Niagara Falls, Oshawa to North Bay and Avanti's in Oshawa is number one. Not because we live here, because of the food, the service, the friendly atmosphere and the cleanliness of this establishment. Their Fusilli in Bianco is our favorite. We have dined there many times before Oshawa Generals Hockey games and Shows at the newly renovated Regent Theatre. And we are so proud to mention Avanti's everywhere we go. They bring out the pride in Oshawa when it comes to dining out.
Wanted to bring some guests on Saturday night. They don't take reservations and the lady was quite rude about it. I didn't want to risk waiting in line for 30 or 40 minutes. Won't be going there anytime soon
Beef Wellington for the main course. Spicy Mango Ice Cream with Chocolate Mousse filled crepes for desert. Fantastic. We go to Avanti's quite often but this meal was the best ever! Even though the restaurant was packed, our server was great and we did not feel rushed.
Went tonight to celebrate my birthday & will definitely be going back. Our server was great - attentive but not obtrusive - and the food was delicious. Maybe next time I'll save room for dessert
A favourite restaurant to be sure! The food is always good and the service is fantastic. I've been several times and as a resident of Oshawa, I'm pleased to say there is a reason to go downtown once again.
I love this restaurant. Makes downtown 'shwa worth going to! I've never had a bad meal, or bad service. I always go here for work functions as they are able to handle big parties. The chicken con pollo is AMAZING!
