Dr. Gilpin graduated from the University of Toronto with her MD in 1986. She started her career by working at a vein clinic in Toronto for two years. She then moved to London where she opened a vein clinic here. She has been certified in Botox ™ and filler injections since 2002 and has been using medical laser devices for more than 15 years.
Dr. Gilpin is a member of the Canadian Society of Phlebology, the American College of Phlebology, the American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery and the Canadian Society of Aesthetic Medicine.
She routinely attends medical conferences in all aspects of her practice and participates in the continuing professional development program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.Leg Veins / Sclerotherapy
All patients with varicose and/or spider veins are thoroughly assessed and, sometimes, also sent for a mapping ultrasound. Many spider veins and some varicose veins can be treated by sclerotherapy which is an injection treatment. Spider veins are usually treated with a salt and sugar in water solution which is generally well-tolerated.
Botox ™ / Fillers
Frown lines, crow’s feet, lip lines, facial folds, and cheek augmentation can be improved with cosmetic facial injections. Often the skin is numbed for treatment with a topical anaesthetic cream. There is usually minimal downtime with these procedures.
Rosacea/ Laser - IPL Treatments
