Always have the best food and service!!
Can't say enough about this location. Everything is perfect and if it isn'y say so and they will fix it up. I was exremely satisfied.
Kelsey's food has always been satisfying, portions are good, food is fresh and hot, everything tastes great. However, you will have to wait. Firstly there's the line to get in, which is nearly of mythical proportions on Fridays and Saturdays. Once you get in you'll be waiting to be seated for a while, even though you can clearly see several tables ready for you. Once seated expect to wait again for a waiter/waitress to take your order, and then prepare for the everlasting wait for your food to arrive! I guess it's just to be expected, lots of people to serve. I've never had a problem with their waitstaff personally, though they do like to stand around and chat a lot.
we have tried again and again. and each time it is an expensive disapointment. waitresses love to throw the bill on the table. no chance to order desserts. cold through too much airconditioning. food is simply not fresh soft drinks taste like swimmingpools..icecubes
Very impressed with the new menu! I enjoyed the food very much. It tastes almost more fresh than before. The spinach dip was a lot less greasy and now served with naan bread instead of the deep fried bread. It didn't bother my stomach as it did before. The service was great, very attentive and friendly watiress.
We go all the time and are happy with the menu, just one waitress is kind of "off"
Our party consisted of 17 people. The Food and Service was Fabulous and everyone is looking forward to having a meal a Kelsey's again.
The food was great, no complaints what so ever. However, going at dinner time we expected a bit of a wait. What we didn't expect was customers to get preferential treatment. And when I mentioned it, we were made to sit an extra 10 mins. We were rushed thru out food, not asked if we wanted coffee or dessert. My daughter spilled her milk all over the booth and nobody came to help the entire meal time so we left it ignored, like we were. Service was crude. I have been about every two months but I don't think i'll be back there again, unless I'm desperate. My review is below which was good, but one sour experience changes a mind.
Service was a little slower than I would of liked. Waitress was nice but when she handed menus she didn't ask if we wanted drinks...was slow retreiving the refill of chocolate milk. Aside from that, everything was great. The greeters, probably 16 yr olds were amazing, funny and polite...they made it comfortable right away.
This is the first time visit..have had bad experiences in other Kelseys and weary of this one. But in this town of poor family restaurant choices, this was the last place to check out. I have to say, this is now all of our family fave, even our 5 year old said, we have to come here again. This is the only place my 5 and 2 yr old ate their food. Service was great aside from our first arriving, hence the slightly lower mark, it was Humane Society Day, cats were there and setting up and the staff were all busy with that. And we had to ask for a menu, but the service picked up after that, and we saw no one waiting for their waiter-which by the way was plenty per customer. Food, I was extremely impressed with. Better than the rest of the restaurants here, was good value for your buck, Food was cooked to perfection and tasty. This will be where we take our business from now on.
Burger and chicken sandwich were good. Caesar salad was the usual poor attempt by a franchise restaurant to make a caesar salad. The place wasn't busy but our waitress was very to check on the table, remove plates, bring the bill, etc.
We started eating here when we noticed that the service was lacking in other kid friendly locations around Lindsay. My only complaint with Kelseys is that depending on your server, you may never get a drink refill (huge pet peeve of mine) or any additional attention during your visit except to drop off the bill. So some of the wait staff could stand to use a little refresher course in personality and checking on their tables. Even when it is slow we sometimes sit for 15 minutes or more waiting for the bill or a drink refill. I have noticed they are improving on the timing of meals but never have I had a bad meal here. The food is always top notch for a chain establishment.
Food and service makes this one of the best places to eat in Lindsay.
Most amazing food i have ever tasted! Every one got the food they ordered! I will certanley bo going back!
We called to ask if there was take out service. They said there was. We ordered chicken alfredo, 2 rib wing combos, 3 appetizers and a hamburger combo. It was delivered in 8 pizza boxes-right on the cardboard. My alfredo was all over the box - there was nothing to contain it. My garden salad was just put right in the pizza box also, on the cardboard. The chicken and ribs were right on the cardboard. I have had take out in other Kelseys and it was put in see through plastic containers - not cardboard pizza boxes. Our bill came to $91.00. No one finished their meal--I wonder why. I have tried E-mailing this Kelsey's in Lindsay but they have not replied. We will never go there again.
We have eaten at many Kelsey's restaurants and rate it as one of our favorite restaurants, but Lindsay's Kelsey's has disappointed us over and over again. We've gone back several times thinking things will improve, but the service is always bad, and our food is always cold or under cooked, or soggy. The Lindsay Kelsey's restaurants I would give a 0 rating and we would rather drive all the way to Peterborough or Oshawa before returning to the Lindsay branch.
