My friends and I regular bean bar because of the...
My friends and I regular bean bar because of the amazing food. Everytime I try something new it becomes my new favourtie. Now it's almost too hard to pick something! The only problem is that they never had enough servers on. It takes way too long for service. As a waitress myself, it would be nice to at least be recognized and told "I'll be with you in a minute" - one time no one came to us for 15 minutes so we left. If the food weren't so damn good, I wouldn't go back!

I was astonished at the quality of the Bean Bars...
I was astonished at the quality of the Bean Bars food. Truly they have the goods to be amongst the best in the city. The homemade soups are awesome, perfect flavor combos and consistency. The chef who made the potato and bacon truly has a gift and should proper in the restaurant business. But, I can't go on and not talk about the portabello salad, it was utterly and without question the tastiest salad I've had to date. Bravo Bean Bar Chefs, Bravo!!

Absolutely amazing food! Hold on to this chef tight. What a change since the last time I attempted a visit - 3 years ago. Service had improved a little but the meal, quality and quantity totally made up for it. I can't believe how fresh and tasty the food is. Congrats for finally getting it right!

Stopped into the Bean Bar after our movie was...
Stopped into the Bean Bar after our movie was over...and shouldn't have. The coffee was quite possibly the worst i have ever had..it was stale and over heated. when we asked our server to make a fresh pot we were refused..saying it was to late and they would have to throw out whatever we did not drink. Desserts were even worse...kept unwrapped in a cooler. They again like the coffee were stale, old. When we again asked for something fresh we were told that desserts only came every week and what did we expect being the end of the week. We were shocked to say the least. This was possibly the worst expereience in any restaurant ever! Word to the wise..stay home!

Our experience was great. The decor was warm and comfortable. The service was great, but not invasive. She kept an eye on us but didn't interfere with too many questions or too much chat. The kitchen sent everything out well-proportioned, nicely placed and seasoned to compliment the foods natural taste without disguising its flavour. They were packed when we went, but sat quickly and had our drinks within a few minutes. Everything else that night seemed to flow quite well. In all, an excellent restaurant.
