There is nothing random about the carefully selected pieces in Hawk & Sparrow, Sarah Moyal’s fashion boutique on James Street North. While the shop’s whimsical name was conceived randomly during a car ride, its moniker is serendipitously appropriate for the shop’s philosophy of inclusiveness. From symbolically large birds to small birds, Hawk & Sparrow “does not distinguish between a style, a trend, or an age. It is inclusive to everything and everyone,” explains Sarah.
Her decision to open the shop in 2011 was no haphazard event. Having worked in Milan for a fashion house, and with a background in languages, the entrepreneur always knew she wanted to establish her own boutique that, as she describes, offers “a great vibe with beautiful and unique curated clothes.”
